In an effort to continue providing great journalism, programming, and advocacy, we’re running our Spring Subscriber Drive this week at The Urbanist. We think what we do is valuable, but you don’t have to take our word for it. Below is a testimonial from street safety advocates Kelli Refer and Tom Fucoloro.

Our family is full of transportation nerds. Kelli is the Advocacy and Communications Director at the Greater Redmond Transportation Management Association and serves on the board of The Urbanist. Tom is the Founder and Editor of the Seattle Bike Blog. Even Fiona, our three-year-old, loves the bus and riding her balance bike. We are a car-free family in Wallingford/U District and live in a backyard cottage we built in our friends’ backyard.

Our family supports The Urbanist because we need local journalists like them who are closely following important housing and transportation news. With their reporting, people can be informed advocates for policies and legislation that create a more just and sustainable Puget Sound region. Please consider subscribing to The Urbanist today.
