Takele Gobena is a candidate for SeaTac City Council (Position 5). A Union Representative at Teamsters Local 117, he was active in the campaign that led to SeaTac being the first city in the country to adopt a $15/hour minimum wage ordinance. He is also a co-founder of the SeaTac Community Coalition, fighting against gentrification and displacement of small local businesses in the city.
