An Urbanist Discussion with Charles Mudede
September 30 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm PDT
The Urbanist is excited to announce a talk with Charles Mudede on the latest hot topics in urbanism from a smoldering planet to a floundering mayor.
An acclaimed filmmaker, Mudede has been writing about urbanism for years for The Stranger. He’s had a progressive socialist vision of how Seattle should grow built on social housing, affordable transit, and walkable streets informed that he laid out in a four-part series with Cary Moon. And bonus: Moon will moderate our discussion. Mudede’s urbanist vision is informed not just by European capitals, but also by a love of the dense chaotic beauty of African metropolises like Lagos.
The event is free, but the suggested donation is $10. Better yet, become a monthly Urbanist subscriber. Our fall subscriber drive kicks off that same Monday. Register here for the Zoom link.
