Capitol Hill Public Life Observational Counts
Over the next few years, institutions and capital projects will inject billions of dollars of investments into public space within and at the edge of the Capitol Hill neighborhood. It is essential that our residents, business owners, workers, students, service providers, and unsheltered neighbors have a say in the development of streets, sidewalks, parks, squares, and other public spaces that connect the neighborhood internally and to the rest of the city.
To support this process with data, the Capitol Hill Eco-District will be conducting observational counts throughout the neighborhood on November 5 and 9. This is a massive effort, and we’ll need a lot of volunteers. Training will be offered, and all volunteers would work in pairs. Please RSVP in advance to learn more.
