
The Urbanist is hosting a post-primary party to celebrate the publication and introduce our endorsed candidates to our members. Attendees will get the opportunity to speak one-on-one with endorsed candidates, candidates will have a chance to celebrate with supporters, and we can all celebrate urbanist wins in the region.
Food and drink will be provided! There will be a brief speaking program focused on how The Urbanist can make an impact on campaigns and support candidates, after which we will return to mingling.
Tickets purchased before The Urbanist’s endorsed candidates are announced are discounted, so get your tickets soon. Details below, address available upon RSVP.
- What: A party with supporters of The Urbanist and The Urbanist-endorsed candidates to mix, mingle, discuss the general election, the future of urbanism, and connect candidates with The Urbanist community and constituency.
- Where: Bellevue, address available upon RSVP.
- When: August 17, 2pm – 4pm.
- Transit: Unfortunately, the venue is not well served by transit. A bike or bike + transit pairing is recommended to reach the venue.

Diego Batres
Diego is the Director of Development and Events of The Urbanist. He believes in making Seattle and the Puget Sound region a model example of good urban living for the rest of the country by expanding transit, ending our housing crisis, pedestrianizing our neighborhoods. He graduated from Seattle University in 2023, and currently lives in Seattle’s Central District.
