The Urbanist’s annual holiday party is our biggest fundraising event and social gathering of the year, bringing together urbanists from across the region to celebrate The Urbanist’s work and advocacy wins. Join us on Tuesday, December 9 at The Collective in South Lake Union for an evening of community, connection, and momentum heading into 2026.

The VIP reception will feature a conversation with Urbanist reporter Ryan Packer, Seattle Councilmember-Elect Dionne Foster, Newcastle Councilmember Paul Charbonneau, and Burien Councilmember-Elect Rocco DeVito, with an opportunity for questions from the audience. All three candidates were endorsed by The Urbanist and victorious in the recent election. Space is limited.

Get your tickets now to reserve your spot.

The general admission portion of the evening also includes a speaking program with Urbanist publisher Doug Trumm and Seattle Councilmember Alexis Mercedes Rinck talking about the urbanist wins of 2025 and the fights ahead in 2026.

Tickets include heavy appetizers and drinks. Mingle with fellow urbanists, elected officials, and advocates for people-centered cities.

We hope to see you for our end-of-year celebration! Ticket sales go towards supporting and expanding The Urbanist’s work.

Both private and street parking are also available. We will be in The Collective’s Alpenglow Room, with plenty of standing room for minglers and reading nooks and hammocks for quieter conversations.
