Pierce Transit has a short video on the agency’s effort to rebalance bus stops across its service area. Rebalancing is the practice of consolidating and moving bus stops to better serve riders and business while speeding up buses by having to stop less often. The project encompasses approximately 2,100 bus stops in the network. An interactive survey on stop rebalancing is open through April 11th and changes could be implemented in time for the fall service change on September 19th.
