On March 28, we are throwing an opening celebration for the 2 line crosslake connection, which will finally unite the Eastside and Seattle, adding brand new light rail stations at the Judkins Park and Mercer Island. Come celebrate with The Urbanist as we explore the new stations, meet up with Eastside Urbanism, and revel in the long-overdue connection to the Eastside.
Over the next month, we also have our usual rotation of socials, include a Seattle social hour on March 19 and a Redmond social on April 2 – which will be after 2 Line extension makes the commute even easier.
Additionally, the Complete Communities Coalition and Transportation Choices Coalition are hosting various urbanism-related events this month, from tabling at farmers markets to talk to Seattleites about the next phases of the Comprehensive Plan to TCC’s Sound Transit town hall on March 30.
