In March, British Columbian leaders announced that SkyTrain in Vancouver would be extended partially on the 99 B Line, the busiest bus line in North America. However, the plan did not include the long-promised Expo Line extension to University of British Columbia (UBC), instead terminating halfway at Arbutus. Uytea Lee explains the rationale for why this might be (aside from dollars and cents) with humor, data, and graphics. Now it appears, however, that UBC may be poised to pay for the remainder of the extension.
