This Sunday afternoon, we are joining Nilu Jenks (who we endorsed) for a canvass in Northgate. Come show your support for an urbanist city council candidate, and get your ballot in if you haven't already!
On November 12th, The Urbanist is joining House Our Neighbors for a social at Teku Tavern. House Our Neighbors will be talking about the Seattle Social Housing Developer, what they are doing to support their efforts, and how Seattle's Comprehensive Plan factors in to expanding social housing..
Finally, December 4th is The Urbanist's Winter Holiday Party. This is our year-end fundraiser and party, bringing advocates, elected officials, advocates, and urbanists of all stripes together to celebrate the work that The Urbanist is doing. Come by and hear Mayor Katie Wilson speak about 2027 at the general reception, or come to the pre-reception, with speakers TBA, for a more personal conversation. Food and drinks provided!
Host Your Own Social
Additionally, we are looking for volunteers to host their own Urbanist socials! If you are someone who is unable to make it to our regular socials, want to meet urbanists in your area, or just want an excuse to grab some drinks, consider hosting your own Urbanist social in your neighborhood or city! Reach out to Diego@theurbanist.org for help getting set up.
