A few dozen people gather at Westlake Park for The Urbanist's Center City walking tour.

Are you looking to grow your connections with other urbanists in the region but unsure of where to start? Perhaps you’re looking for just the right organization to join to further your own advocacy efforts. Then look no further than The Urbanist’s new Local Events Calendar. This public calendar gives our readers a one-stop shop for finding events from a variety of organizations across the region. Readers can even subscribe to the calendar so they never miss an opportunity to connect.

In addition to hosting all The Urbanist’s own events, we will highlight events from other urbanist-adjacent organizations. At The Urbanist, we believe that an engaged community is a thriving community and that partnerships among organizations across the spectrum of urban themes are key to driving progress. Organizations that want their events to be included in the calendar can use this “pitch your event” form to submit an event for inclusion.

We also want to hear from our readers. What types of events or topics would you like to see? Let us know using this feedback form. If anyone reading this is interested in volunteering to help us maintain this resource by inputting events into the calendar on the back-end, we’d welcome folks to reach out to events [at] theurbanist.org.

We look forward to seeing all of you at an event very soon.
